Reviewers' Guidelines
Prism Voyage of English Language and Literature -PVELL
Peer review is a crucial component of research evaluation since it is a guardian of the quality and legitimacy of scholarly contributions. We would like to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to our hardworking reviewers, whose unpaid efforts help advance science.
We strictly follow scientific standards in our review process, which supports the overall calibre of research that is disseminated. As such, the significance and reliability of published works are closely associated with the rigorous requirements of our review process.
However, essential ideas supporting our quest for excellence in scholarly publications serve as a guide for reviewers. These guiding concepts serve as the cornerstone around which our group works to cultivate and advance outstanding research outcomes.
Peer Review
Peer review is a systematic assessment procedure in which other researchers carefully consider and provide unbiased opinions to improve the calibre of the study. Independent specialists examine research publications from several perspectives, including validity, significance, uniqueness, and extent. Their observations help the journal's editorial board decide which submitted manuscripts to accept or reject.
There are several types of peer review; the two most widely used types are blind and double-blind. We at PVELL adhere to the Double-Blind Peer Review process. With this method, the identities of the reviewers and the writers are kept secret, guaranteeing a degree of openness, objectivity, and justice critical to the integrity of the assessment procedure.
Suggestion for Reviewer
To ensure complete compliance, reviewers are kindly encouraged to familiarize themselves with our ethical rules and the requirements for authors. PVELL provides a peer review form to our prestigious reviewers to streamline the review process. This form asks for the manuscript ID, the Title of the research article under evaluation, the reviewer's name, institution, and official email address.
Reviewers will be asked to rate the following criteria on this peer-review form using a Likert scale from "Very Good" to "Very Poor." This methodical technique enables a thorough and consistent assessment of the manuscript's merits.
